Not everything around Lubinik is a WordPress plugin.
Some of the tools are much smaller, and their origin is less architectural and more practical: I got tired of seeing small useful tasks turned into subscription products.
Background removal. Circular image crops. QR code generation. Color palette extraction. These are real tasks when building websites, but they do not always need another online tool, another account, another monthly payment, another dependency on somebody else’s interface.
So I built small tools for them.
Practical self-sufficiency
Background Remover helps prepare product images, profile images, logos, and visual assets. Make It Circle turns image folders into clean circular assets. QR Code Generator creates branded QR codes without relying on a web service. Color Palette Extractor turns images into usable palettes that can become child-theme design tokens.
These tools are not the core of Lubinik, but they belong near it because they come from the same way of working.
If I keep doing a task, and the task is small enough to understand, I would rather build a focused tool than keep outsourcing the annoyance. Not everything deserves a platform. Sometimes a little CLI that does the job is better.
That is also part of the Lubinik mindset: useful systems do not have to be huge. They just have to remove the right bit of friction.
