Case study Child Theme

Showcase Child Theme

Child Theme

The Showcase child theme is the site-specific visual layer for the Lubinik presentation site. It is adapted from the Comics child theme, but its purpose is journal-like documentation of the framework rather than selling a product.

01

Problem

The Lubinik site needed a strong, personal, colorful design that explains the work honestly. It also needed archive and single pages for case studies while keeping the case-study model inside the Showcase addon.

02

Solution

The child theme owns the header, footer, homepage visual language, archive/single shells, responsive layout, and template metadata. The Showcase addon owns the `lubinik_case_study` CPT, project type and stack component taxonomies, and single-page shortcodes.

03

Results

Showcase is Lubinik turned back on itself: the same parent/core/addon/child-theme architecture is used to explain why the architecture exists.
