Lubinik BnB Addon

Addon

The BnB addon is the accommodation-oriented domain layer for Lubinik. It models lodgings, attractions, food recommendations, amenities, services, calendars, galleries, archive layouts, and single accommodation pages.

01

Problem

The first Lubinik project started with too much inside one theme/plugin stack. Accommodation content, local guide sections, galleries, calendars, and booking-related pieces were mixed with systems that could clearly be reused by other kinds of sites.

02

Solution

The accommodation-specific code became its own addon. The parent theme and core plugin kept the reusable infrastructure, while the BnB addon owned the CPTs, taxonomies, shortcodes, templates, and frontend sections that only make sense for hospitality sites.

03

Results

The BnB addon became the first proof that Lubinik could separate generic framework behavior from project-specific content models. It also gave later addons a concrete pattern to refine instead of starting from theory.
