Lubinik Comics Addon

Addon

The Comics addon models serialized comic content: series, episodes, characters, genres, formats, publication statuses, story arcs, audiences, character roles, readers, latest content, featured sections, and comic-specific page templates.

Problem

Comics are not accommodation, shelter, or professional-service content. They need editorial relationships, reading sequences, character pages, series pages, episode pages, and story-specific taxonomies. Building that manually would repeat the same addon skeleton again.

02

Solution

The Comics addon uses the Lubinik addon pattern for a very different content universe. It relies on generated structure for CPTs, taxonomies, shortcodes, templates, and assets, then adds comic-specific presentation and entity logic.

Results

Comics proved that the scaffolder was becoming genuinely useful. A different domain could be created from familiar Lubinik shapes without manually rebuilding the same foundation, and its child theme later became a practical starting point for Showcase.
