Problem
The Lubinik site needed case studies, but it did not need the full Freelance addon with services, packs, leads, clients, tools, forms, and waitlists. Copying that whole addon would have made the site heavier than the story it needed to tell.
Solution
Showcase keeps only the useful case-study shape. The parent theme handles the journal-like homepage, hero, header, footer, blog, and custom sections. The addon focuses on structured case studies with project types, stack components, single-page shortcodes, and list/archive output.
Results
Showcase is Lubinik documenting Lubinik. It demonstrates disciplined reuse: take the pattern that matters, leave the rest behind, and let the framework layers keep their responsibilities clear.
