Case study Addon

Lubinik Freelance Addon

Addon

The Freelance addon is the professional portfolio and service-site layer. It manages projects, services, clients, skills, packs, tools, leads, QCM-style forms, waitlists, project galleries, filters, and structured project pages.

Problem

A professional site needs more than a portfolio grid. Projects need case-study pages, services need structure, tools and packs need their own records, and lead/contact workflows can quickly become too specific for the parent theme or the core plugin.

02

Solution

The addon keeps the business-specific model separate from the framework. Project pages are assembled from focused shortcodes inside coded templates, and the shortcode manager decides which sections are active. The addon also expanded generation patterns for CPTs, taxonomies, repeaters, post-object fields, lists, CSS, leads, and waitlists.

Results

Freelance confirmed that the parent/core/addon split could support a real professional site. It also became an important reference for the scaffolder and later inspired the lighter Showcase addon, which kept the case-study idea without copying the whole business model.
